Small Groups: Tree of Life has a variety of small groups that meet around the area and online. Through small groups we experience deeper community and a habit of inviting the Lord into our everyday lives as we share, learn and pray together. Small groups are primarily geared for adults in the church. Our current small groups meet Tuesday or Thursday evenings.
Alpha! Every year Tree of Life hosts an Alpha! Course for folks who are interested in learning more about the Christian Faith. Alpha! is a place to ask your honest questions and get interested. It's for people who are thinking of coming back to church, just feel they have questions that never got answered, or for those wondering about following Jesus for the first time.
Our next Alpha! will begin in Fall 2022. If you are interested in attending or volunteering, please let us know!

Volunteer on One of Our Ministry Teams!
Tree of Life has a number of local missions. Some are ongoing and some happen periodically through the year. Many of our ministries require volunteers to be at Tree of Life for a period of time and receive training before participating. However, some ministries, such as the immigration clinic, are open to outside volunteers. If you are interested in joining Tree of Life on mission please talk to Pastor Heather or contact one of our staff members.
Immigration Legal-Aid Clinic: Tree of Life operates a church-based immigration legal-aid clinic as a tangible way of showing Christ's love to our immigrant neighbors. Volunteers help greet clients, teach ESL, lead ELS-based Bible studies, help immigrants apply for things like food stamps and jobs, drive clients to legal appointments, and do office work. For more information contact our immigration clinic director, Lynn Wade.
Youth Ministry: Tree of Life has a youth outreach to the teenagers of our neighborhood. Each Wednesday night youth gather for a fun time of playing games, hearing the good news of Jesus Christ, and supporting one another in friendship and prayer. Many of our youth have big challenges in their lives. It is truly a joy to watch the Lord direct them toward the abundant life found only in him. Youth group volunteers do everything from planning games and bringing treats, to giving talks and mentoring youth. For more information about volunteering with our youth group, please email Pastor Heather.
Children's Ministries: Tree of Life has several outreaches to the children of our neighborhood throughout the year. We also have a weekly program for children 10 and under during our Sunday worship service. Some of these children belong to families in our church, other to families in our neighborhood. We are always looking for brave souls to take on the exciting and vital task of passing on the faith to our children. All volunteers must attend Tree of Life for at least six months, be trained and background checked.
Worship Arts: If you've ever visited Tree of Life, you might have noticed that there are a lot of different people up in front doing things through out the service. Tree of Life is a liturgical church. The term liturgy means literally: the work of the people. At our church its the job of every Christian to actively worship God. People who have attended Tree of Life for at least three months and have made a commitment to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, are invited to share in some of the upfront aspects for worship, including: reading Scripture, helping with music, designing the seasonal art at the altar, and more. As a multicultural church we enjoy celebrating worship forms from many different cultures. Your gifts are welcome!
Prayer Ministry: Tree of Life believes in the power of prayer. We offer healing prayer ministry every week during our Sunday service and at other times by request. If you are interested in joining this amazing ministry, please talk to Pastor Heather about the next healing prayer training.
